March 1st and 2nd - Party w/ the Lunar Team

it was a fun weekend - but the skiing conditions could have been better for most. It as been warm, and cold at night so the in bounds snow conditions were were FROZEN. I skied alone and thus enjoyed some exploring. I ventured beyond the boundaries in both directions and found ankle to shin deep snow in both directions. Finally got to ski down to Caples Lake, and explored far beyond Palisades Bowl. There I even found a cliff with good snow on the landing. Well, that was if I didn't punch the landing and take the left knee to the FACE! yeah - that could have gone better. So I hiked up, and dropped it again, this time skiing away from the rock without another face impact. NICE! Here is the aftermath of the knee to face...

I partied with the kids from Lunar that night. Good times in a big new home built on Pioneer Trail. Dan the Track-Man built a Tobaggon Run for us all to enjoy. We did some night sledding, then built another track that aired over Track #1 on Sunday. That was a lot of fun. see sledding slides!
