Crested Butte FreeSkiing Competition - Feb 19-22nd

John, Ruusba, and I set off this morning at 3:45am from South Lake Tahoe. We cruised through Reno a few short hours later and then it was to Salt Lake City. We made Provo for lunch, stopping at Fazoli's for some pasta. Ruusba got some nourishment as well, and we set our sights on Gunnison, Co. We crossed the Colorado state line about 4:00 MST, and caught this photo as the sun was getting low and the shadows were getting long.

This is the farthest EAST John has ever gone in a car. And then we went even farther!
Time for bed now - Crested Butte Hostel provides us nice accommodations.
