We picked up some Blister-Aid patches on the way to breakfast, and Stefan was finally able to wear his ski boots again! We headed to Loveland Pass for some turns in soft snow. It has been more than a week since the last snow – but our trusty guide showed us the stashes. We were able to log ‘bout 8 or so quick runs with the help of our trusty escort, Brynna Vogt. She would drop us off and pick us up anywhere we pleased. She was AWESOME! Even when she pulled so far off the side of the road the car got stuck in the snow! Luckily another Subaru pulled along and gave Ruusba the little tug she needed to get off the edge of the slope. Ruusba was out and we were on our way down for some more pow-turns! Can’t complain ‘bout shin-deep a week after the storm! We retired ‘bout 2pm to Steamboat to celebrate Zaleski’s birthday, imbibe, and play poker for 7 hourrs! Stefan made $10 go a lonnnnnnnnnngggggggggg way. Oh – Zaleski did get his wish – it snowed on his birthday.
