Day 5 - MORE SNOW!!

The winds lighten up and now the top of the mountain will be open. Jake and I got ready and were lucky to catch a ride with Kevin and his friends in the back of their pick up truck. Very nice people here in Girdwood, AK.

It was a fabulous day on the mountain. Jake and I got first TRAM, and we were one of the first 10 to drop into Christmas. As it turns out this was the best day of the season so far on the Mtn. You could tell. There were a ton of locals ripp'n up the mountain. We were ripp'n it up too. We ended up catching up with Paige, and Tom, and the Tough Guys, and some Italian Telemarkers. It was great.
Near the end of the day, Jake was nice enough to shoot this drop for me. Turned out pretty cool.

Paul and Kent from Washington showed up. They were really lucky to get in. We were glad they did. Should be a great week of Teleskiing and chill'n with other free heel enthusiasts.
