Happy Thanksgiving!

It was a fantastic Thanksgiving weekend. I was able to fly down to LA to visit my Cousins and my brother. Leland and I joined the Marvel's after running the Long Beach Turkey Trot and then meeting up with Katie Strain to have some breakfast and cocktails. Katie's Brother's in-laws really know how to put on a Thanksgiving Breakfast. It was delicious. A big shout out to that lovely home on the Peninsula! Leland and I got to play several games of handball with Marvel Children, LuLu, Abram, and Asa. It was great! A fun game for sure! Then we all got ready for our Thanksgiving Dinner at the Light House. It was really mediocre! Next year we will cook. Almarine - If you don't feel like cooking, that is fine, I'll take care of the cooking!
Both my brother and I took off from LA on Friday. He headed north to Seattle, and I took out in Sacramento. I met up with Messy and we joined the rest of the crowd at the Peter Grubb Ski Hut. There was no snow for skiing, but it was a beautiful weekend. Many friends and many more laughs. Here is a photo of most of the gang atop Castle Peak on our Saturday hike.

I would like to take this opportunity to give Thanks to all my family and friends that have made 2008 a truly remarkable year. It has been a "New Year" ever since January 1st. Thank you, and I look to continuing the good times for the rest of 2007, and look forward to the new joys of 2009. Thank you, I greatly appreciate you all.
