Splitboard Steve, John, and I set out onto Mt.Tallac. This was to be John's first tour on Tallac. We were to look at Baby Sham and Big Bird. Technical difficulty hit John mid way up. Steve was worried about the snow conditions higher...we couldn't see the summit for the continuous cloud cover. We decided to head back down. Found some good turns and then Steve and I skinned back up while John made a snow man.
It had rained, gotten cold, super crust formed. Video to be posted next week.
We took a quick look at the slopes leading into Angora Lake. Looks like fun. The ski down on super crust was not. Till a better day. The good news of the day is I found three more lines I want to ski.
