Photo of Zaleski after Telluride Comp

This photo is over a week old, but the story still needs to be told. Zaleski, my mentor, has shown me that things I've often thought were not possible on skis, are infact possible and can look really easy. That was all true until I saw his run at Telluride. He chose the gnarliest line available in the opening day venue. As it ends up he got turned around and was not able to take the skier's right line that he wanted, but that didn't stop him from getting the gnarliest bruise I've ever seen in person.

He is so lucky I didn't punch him in the leg....so lucky.
