The train arrives in Grand Junction, but I had arranged to grab my ski bag and jump back on the train. I wasn't booked through to Glendale Springs, but I jumped back onto the train anyways! I worked it out with the conductor so all was cool. Got off the train and walked across the street into the Denver Hotel, they were nice folks and let me stash my stuff there while I looked around town. SunRise Ski and Board shop fixed my boot buckle up no problem, then I went over the the Glendale Hot Springs Spa and change for a quick run. I ran along the Colorado river and found a natural spot where the hot spring effluent poured into the river. Small pools were made where the cold and hot waters would mix. After my run I dipped in there for a while and talked with the locals a bit. I watched the sunset in a gap of the surrounding mountains and then headed back to the spa. I made a few laps in the giant pool, and then hopped into the Therapy Pool and did some stretching. Showered up and headed into town. I'm eating dinner at the Bayou and enjoying some TurboDog Beer from Abita.
