There are now a number of photos available from our stint in Oregon and the drive to Colorado, which did include a quick jog at Arches National Park. I was able to help maintain Balance Rock and we saw a circus bear also doing some impressive balancing. We made it into Ridgeway just in time to fill the gas tank up and grab dinner before the establishments shut down. I would close too if it was 10 deg F below zero. Good Times.

The San Juan Mountains got dumped on this past weekend, but the snow is still deep out there. Stefan and I walked around the back country near the Red Mountain Pass off of 550. The weather was cold, sunny, and no wind - fantastic! We spent about 6 hours enjoying the wilderness and getting to know the San Juans. We enjoyed great views and found some knee deep turns and I even received a few face shots! After our beautiful tour and as the sun set over Ouray we had the delight of meeting the local police. I was able to give the officer my signature in exchange for his and I now have a chance to appear back in Ouray to contest an inflated speeding ticket. Awesome!
